Humanity is easily abandoned online.
The ability to stay anonymous while you tell people what your 'Inner Devil' is saying about them is a very tempting power to utilise, but here's something people might get surprised about:
You're being tracked and the records are permanent.
It can be simple for some people to check into your online activities and find out what you've been doing; how much of a disrespectful person you can be... and not all of it is something that you'd allow a possible future coworker or boss to know.
Respect can be a hard thing to give to strangers online - after all, respect is something that one must earn, right? No. As much as I, myserlf, would love for it to be that way, there are certain rules that society must adhere to in order to function properly.
